This Privacy Policy explains how redTerm ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you use the redTerm mobile application (the "App").

redTerm is an SSH terminal client. Depending on how you use the App, we may process:

• Connection details you enter: host/IP, port, username, authentication method, SSH key file path (if used)
• Credentials: passwords only if you choose to save them
• Terminal session input/output used to provide SSH functionality

3. How Information Is Used

• Establish and maintain SSH connections you request
• Save your connection profiles on your device
• Authenticate to your selected SSH servers
• Provide terminal functionality and session management

4. Data Storage and Security

• Connection profiles are stored locally on your device
• Saved passwords are encrypted at rest (AES-GCM)
• We do not intentionally store plaintext passwords when "save password" is enabled

5. Data Sharing

• We do not sell your personal data
• We do not share your connection data with third parties for advertising
• Data is transmitted only to SSH servers you explicitly connect to

6. Data Retention

• Stored connection data remains on your device until you delete it
• You can remove saved connections from within the App
• Uninstalling the App generally removes app-local data, subject to device/OS behavior

7. Children’s Privacy

redTerm is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised "Last Updated" date.
